This privacy policy explains how OnsiteTech NL (“we”, “us”) processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).

Who we are

OnsiteTech NL, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK number KVK number to be added, with its registered address at registered address to be added. You can contact us at [email protected].

What data we collect

• Engineer requests: company name, contact name, email, phone number, site address, assignment details and any files you upload.
• Engineer network registrations: name, contact details, company and KVK details, location, skills, availability, rates, LinkedIn profile, CV and notes.
• Contact form and website assistant messages: name, company, email, phone (optional), your message and, if you used the assistant's questionnaire, your answers and the recommended service.
• Email correspondence: the content of messages you send us.

Why we use it

• To respond to requests, prepare quotes and deliver the services you order (performance of a contract).
• To assess and contact engineers about assignments (legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps).
• To meet legal obligations, such as financial record keeping.

Form processing and processors

Website forms and assistant messages are delivered to us by email through a form processing service (FormSubmit). The website is served by a hosting provider. These processors handle data only to deliver the service to us. We do not use your data for marketing without your consent and we do not sell personal data.

Website assistant

The assistant on this website answers questions using pre-written information that runs in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere unless you choose to send a message to the team, in which case it is delivered like a contact form. The conversation is kept in your browser session so it survives page changes, and is removed when you close the tab or press “Start over”.

Information stored in your browser

• Form drafts: answers you type in our forms are saved in your browser (local storage) until you send the form or press “Clear form”, so you don't lose your work. Attachments are not stored. Drafts expire after 14 days.
• Assistant session: the assistant conversation is stored in session storage and removed when you close the tab.

This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Engineer data

Engineer registrations are used internally only. Engineers are never listed or presented publicly on this website. Relevant details may be shared with a customer only when an engineer is assigned to that customer's job, and only to the extent needed for site access and delivery.

Retention

We keep request data for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting assignment, and as required by Dutch law for administration. Engineer registrations are kept while the registration is active; you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Email [email protected] to exercise these rights. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The browser storage described above is used only to provide features you use.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
